JASTECA CSR – Sustainability Gold Award 2018 was won by the program “Saving the Next Generation, Restoration of degraded sites in Riverston and the Knuckles forest reserve”, This project is carried out by the 'Peradeniya University Botanical Society' guided by Dr. AMTA Gunaratne, Prof. Gehan Jayasuriya, Prof. Priyanka de Silva and Ms. Chinthani Malsha in collaboration with Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt.) Ltd, the Forest Department and local communities in forest degraded sites in Knuckles conservation area.
