Eco-craft competition
Greener world through craft
Create a poster by using natural plant material to convey a moral message on "Nature Conservation"
Finally, get a nice snap & send us via the below google form.
We are ready to give great value & appreciation for your creativity
Criteria for the poster competition
Competition is organized under two categories
a)11-18 years
b)19 years and above(open)
One participant can submit only one poster.
Poster should be A3 size (if inconvenient, use A4) and portrait/landscape in orientation.
Only natural plant materials should be used for creating the poster.
Poster should convey a message on nature conservation.
You must include your own message/quote
Medium Sinhala/English/Tamil
Poster can be included illustrations.
Photographs of your poster should be uploaded as a jpg file through this Google form. https://forms.gle/jBxWFD24JTxiKB3b8
Photograph should be clear & less than 100 MB.
All the photos will be posted on the BOTSOC Facebook page.
The most popular poster & the most creative 3 posters will be awarded
Number of likes, comments & shares for the original posts on BOTSOC Facebook page are considered for the most popular award.
Competitors are allowed to promote their posters
Only one comment is accepted from one account
72 hrs are allocated to promote the posters (more details will be informed)
For most creative awards, the posters are judged on creativity, neatness, the value of the conveying massage.
Valuable certificates will be awarded for the winners.
The submission deadline is the 27th of July 2021.
The judges' decision will be the final.

BOTSOC Padura
A classical music event organized annually by BOTSOC to entertain the busy souls. Music will be provided by the Art Circle of the Faculty of Science and it is a good opportunity to perform the talents of young scientists, academic and non-academic staff members in the university.
